Laboratory Verification
Every AXIOM batch is verified against the AXIOM 12-Point Analytical Verification™ standard by accredited independent laboratories. The resulting Certificate of Analysis is published on the product page it belongs to.
Primary analytical verification
Six analytical checks establish what the material is, how pure it is and whether it is free of the contaminant classes that matter most in a laboratory setting.
- Identity confirmed — structure verified by mass spectrometry against the declared compound.
- Chromatographic purity — measured by HPLC against a defined acceptance threshold.
- Content (assay) verified — measured strength reconciled against the declared strength.
- Endotoxin tested — bacterial endotoxin screening against a defined limit.
- Heavy metals tested — elemental impurity screening against a defined limit.
- Microbiology tested — total counts and specified organism screening.
Microbiological panel
The microbiology component covers seven specified organisms in addition to total aerobic and total yeast/mould counts.
- Staphylococcus aureus
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- Escherichia coli
- Salmonella species
- Candida albicans
- Clostridia species
- Bile-tolerant gram-negative bacteria
Independent, accredited laboratories
Testing is commissioned from third-party laboratories operating to ISO/IEC 17025 methodology. AXIOM does not self-certify results and does not modify laboratory reports.
Certificates of Analysis
Each product page displays the Certificate of Analysis for the batch currently held for that SKU, rendered in place as a read-only document. Where a batch is superseded, the certificate on the page is replaced with the certificate for the new batch.
What verification does not represent
Analytical verification establishes the identity, purity and contaminant profile of a research material. It is not a safety assessment, an efficacy assessment, or an approval of any kind for use in or on humans or animals.
